Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of floor maintenance principles and uses proper procedures for hard floor care (stripping, refinishing, burnishing).
• Uses equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Cleans carpets with shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use.
• Follows safety precautions in mixing and using cleaning solutions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
