Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of floor maintenance basics and uses proper procedures for hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing.
• Operates floor care equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Cleans carpets with shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Follows safety procedures and disinfects floor care equipment after use.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
