Job summary

The Village of St. Edward is seeking a Floor Care Worker for the Fairlawn location. The role involves performing all types of floor care and related tasks, including periodic duties in Laundry and Housekeeping, with basic knowledge of stripping, waxing and refinishing. Independent work is expected.

We offer a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, along with comprehensive benefits and a supportive, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Dexterity to operate levers, buttons, machinery, etc.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach at different angles.
• May stand on feet for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of floor care and other related work including filling in for Laundry and Housekeeping.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of general floor care, stripping, waxing and refinishing.
• Work independently with little supervision.
