Job summary

Transforming Age's Eastmont living community in Lincoln, NE is seeking a dedicated Floor Cleaner (Custodian) to maintain clean and safe floors across public areas and resident spaces. The role is full-time with hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, offering an hourly rate of $16.00–$19.00 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will operate floor care machines, use cleaning chemicals, and respond quickly to spills while providing friendly service to residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One to three years floor care experience preferred.
• Able to operate shampooing machines and know floor care chemicals.
• Commit to 5 days per week, 8 hours per day and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains all floors (carpet, LVT, tile, linoleum, wood, etc.).
• Keeps equipment and supplies clean, neat, organized, and filled.
• Sweeps, mops, shampoos and operates floor cleaning machines.
• Responds quickly to spills.
• Cleans and sanitizes public areas (hallways, restrooms, dining areas, etc.).
