Transforming Age Associates' Eastmont in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Floor Cleaner (Custodian) to maintain carpets, tile and all floor surfaces, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff. This full‑time position offers benefits and requires 5 days per week, 6:00 am–2:30 pm; familiarity with shampooing machines, floor-care chemicals, and a strong work ethic.

A background check is required.

Qualifications

• One to three years floor care experience is preferred
• Must be able to operate shampooing machines and have knowledge of the floor care chemicals and cleaning solutions
• Be able to reliably work 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
• Self-motivated and a desire to have the cleanest floors in town

Responsabilités

• Cleans and maintains all floors (carpet, LVT, tile, linoleum, wood, etc).
• Keeps equipment and supplies clean, neat, organized, and filled.
• Sweeps, mops, shampoos and operates floor cleaning machines.
• Responds quickly to spills.
• Cleans and sanitizes public areas (hallways, restrooms, dining areas, etc)
• Provide excellent customer service to our residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Overview

We have an amazing opportunity for a Eastmont - Floor Cleaner (Custodian) to join our team! We have a wonderful opportunity for a Floor Cleaner (Custodian) who would like to have a meaningful role where they are valued every day! This role is perfect for the early riser who enjoys keeping the community looking great and has a passion for people who will appreciate your hard work.

Salary and Hours

The hourly rate for this role is $16.00 to $19.00 DOE. Work hours are 6:00 am to 2:30pm M-F.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• One to three years floor care experience is preferred
• Previous experience in a senior living community or hospitality setting is not required but is highly desired!
• Can-do attitude and work ethic.
• Must be able to operate shampooing machines and have knowledge of the floor care chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Be able to reliably work 5 days per week, 8 hours per day and have fun
• Be able to pass an extensive background check.
• Self-motivated and a desire to have the cleanest floors in town.

Physical Requirements

Be able to lift/push/pull or carry up to 50 lbs.
