Job summary

Transforming Age Eastmont is seeking a Floor Cleaner (Custodian) to maintain all floor surfaces in a senior living community in Lincoln, NE. The role offers early morning hours, with a shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

The hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $19.00, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of floor care experience, a can-do attitude, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1–3 years floor care experience preferred.
• Experience in a senior living community or hospitality setting not required but highly desired.
• Can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
• Must operate shampooing machines and be knowledgeable about floor care chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Able to work 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Must pass an extensive background check.
• Self-motivated and dedicated to having the cleanest floors in town.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains all floors (carpet, LVT, tile, linoleum, wood, etc.).
• Keeps equipment and supplies clean, neat and organized.
• Sweeps, mops, shampoos and operates floor cleaning machines.
• Responds quickly to spills.
• Cleans and sanitizes public areas (hallways, restrooms, dining areas).
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

Physical Requirements

• Be able to lift/push/pull or carry up to 50 lbs.
