Job summary

Cantex in Plano, TX is seeking a Floor Technician to perform scheduled floor care tasks, mop, sweep, dust, wash windows, shampoo and vacuum carpets, arrange furniture, and maintain floors and fixtures under supervision.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains all floor surfaces
• Buffs and waxes floors, strips and waxes floors, top scrubs and waxes floors
• Extracts and vacuums carpets as directed by Supervisor
• Utilizes proper chemicals and equipment
• Reports repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance department
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards and abides by safety rules
• Attends weekly in-services, understands, and complies with Patient Care Management Systems
• Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
