Description

The Floorcare Maintenance Technician role within Real Estate Operations has responsibility for floor maintenance, upholstery cleaning, and temporary coverage for routine office cleaning and janitorial services within our Retail and back-office facilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for completing floor maintenance duties across a portfolio of sites, including stripping and waxing, carpet cleaning, and deep cleaning of various floor types. Work orders will be issued for each location to be completed twice yearly.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Floor maintenance and cleaning of various flooring types (VCT, Ceramic tile, carpet, wood, LVT, vinyl sheet goods, rubber tile, etc.)
• Using floor machines and extractors to clean and sanitize flooring and upholstery (chairs, cubicle walls, soft fabric materials)
• Traveling to and from facilities within a designated route/radius
• Maintaining floors and upholstery in assigned facilities
• Performing normal cleaning tasks and special projects, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc., when janitorial staff needs coverage
• Closing out work orders using Computerized Maintenance Management System via cellphone, iPad, or computer at facilities
• Communicating professionally with colleagues and customers
• Maintaining inventory of supplies, tools, and materials in vehicles
• Responsible for maintaining company vehicle and electronics

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

• Some overtime possible during evenings and weekends

Work Schedule: 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
