Job summary

MSNW Group is seeking a part-time floor care technician based in the Portland area. This role focuses on cleaning and maintaining floors across contract facilities, with duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, and related maintenance tasks.

You will support management and train staff, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The position requires five 1-year floor care experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum five 1 year floor care experience.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort and lead others in the field.
• Must pass company background check screening and city government requirements.
• Must be physically able to perform general tasks.
• Must interact appropriately with customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Stripping & waxing, buffing floors, grout cleaning, burnishing floors, carpet cleaning, etc.
• Assist management in daily operation of contract services delivered to customers in a timely and quality manner.
• Orientate in safe and proper operation of equipment and floor care processes as necessary.
• Assist with job training for staff.
• Conduct quality checks inspections as directed by Management.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repair of equipment as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and ensure it functions properly.
• Report worn and broken equipment to supervisor.
• Secure building and manage keys, combinations, and equipment.
