Challenge Unlimited is hiring a Full-Time Crew Leader for Floor Care at Crane Naval Base. The role leads a crew, ensuring floor care tasks meet contract requirements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include supervising work, coordinating schedules, and guiding clients and workers to achieve optimal performance. Strong communication and leadership are essential; physical fitness is necessary for daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is helpful but not required.
• 2+ years of floor care experience with stripping, buffing, scrubbing, waxing floors using chemicals and operating equipment.
• Must pass a criminal background check and state/federal registry checks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be 21 or older to drive the company van.
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with custodial tasks, floor care, and safety of crew and site.
• Maintain quality and organize daily crew/building sheets.
• Manage inventory and supply requests; ensure proper use of company resources.
• Supervise janitors for floor care and ensure contract requirements are met.
• Create schedules and assign tasks; communicate expectations and complete assessments as needed.
