Job summary

Hope the Mission is seeking a part-time Floor Associate to welcome customers, assist with merchandise, and operate the cash register on shifts across our thrift stores in California. You will help keep the store clean, stocked, and organized, ensuring a warm and accessible shopping environment.

Reporting to the Thrift Store Manager, you will collaborate with staff and volunteers, handle basic transactions, stock shelves, and maintain safety and confidentiality standards while delivering quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background screening is required.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• MVR check for roles requiring driving.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• Compliance with company policies including safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers on the sales floor.
• Operate cash register and complete transactions accurately.
• Help shoppers locate items and answer questions.
• Stock and return merchandise to proper locations.
• Keep the store clean and organized; maintain display areas.
