Job summary

Back Alley Bowling in Northridge, CA is seeking Floor Agents to deliver an amazing bowling experience. You will keep the facility clean and assist guests with scoring and general service.

The role involves cleaning building areas, restroom upkeep, stocking supplies, assisting servers and bar, removing trash, liaising with front desk via radio, and supporting other departments as needed. Must be 18+, flexible shifts, friendly, reliable, able to stand/walk, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building cleanliness in a quick, efficient manner across all areas.
• Check restrooms frequently and stock supplies; ensure they are clean and operable.
• Assist servers by clearing plates and returning items for washing.
• Help bar with glass washing if 21 or older; support kitchen as needed.
• Remove trash, restock supplies, and prep lanes for the next guests.
• Return bowling balls to racks and keep seating areas tidy.
• Communicate with Front Desk as lanes become available.
• Assist with basic pinsetter calls after training and approval.
• Support Guests with scoring and lane setup as needed.
• Perform deep cleaning and general maintenance of the building.
• React with urgency to requests; report mechanical issues to Head Mechanic.
• Check in with Manager at start and clock out with MOD approval.
• Enforce No Outside Food & Beverage policy.

We are seeking Floor Agents toprovide the most amazing bowling experience for our Guests. Looking forindividuals with some pep in their step who love to clean and MOVE around. Youwill maintain the cleanliness of the entire bowling center while also providingcustomer service to our guests while they are bowling. We prefer individualsare also mechanically inclined since porters are also trained to work on thepinsetters (bowling machines).

Summaryof Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the building in aquick and efficient manner, (cleanliness of building includes all areas:parking lot, entryway, hallways, concourse, settee area, arcades, lockers,restrooms, all trash throughout the building)
• Check restrooms frequently (every 15 minutes) which includes, stocking supplies, wiping down mirrors, sweeping floors, keeping floor free from water, ensuring all toilets and/or urinals are in working order
• Assist servers by picking up plates and glasses and returning them to proper area to be washed
• Assist Bar in washing glasses as needed (if you are 21 or older)
• Assist Kitchen in washing dishes as needed
• Remove trash as necessary
• Return bowling balls to racks
• Wipe down bowling seating area, sweep floor, and clear the lane for the next Guests
• Communicate via radio with Front Desk as lanes are available
• Take Basic pinsetter calls (only once trained by Head Mechanic and approved to work on the pinsetters)
• Restock cleaning and restroom supplies throughout shift and at the end of shift
• Assist Guests with scoring system (help enter names, put bumpers up)
• Perform deep cleaning and maintenance of building
• React with a sense of urgency to all requests
• Report any mechanical issues to the Head Mechanic
• Assist in other departments as needed
• Clean Parking Lot from all trash, bottles, etc. throughout your shift (every hour) and at the end of the night. At the end of the night, the entire parking lot should be free from all debris.
• Check in with Manager when arriving for shift, request any breaks to the MOD and take breaks only when approved. Check out with the MOD before clocking out from your shift.
• Thoroughly clean bowler approaches with cloth and alcohol. Approaches should be clear of any oil drips and scuff marks and be ready for leagues coming in the next morning.
