Job summary

Donaldson Company Inc. in Frankfort, IN is seeking a Floating Ultra Web Operator to assemble filtration products in a team-oriented, on-site environment. This is a 1st shift role, running from 6:30 a.m.

to 2:30 p.m., with an hourly rate of $27.44 and eligibility for an annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth. You will recognize and operate the media process equipment, perform quality checks, document scrap and media usage, execute machine changeovers, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years of trade school or qualified work experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to use computer and understand basic math principles.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media process.
• Produce media within acceptable quality and quantity standards as stated in the prints and/or route sheets.
• Perform quality checks and tests as assigned.
• Follow first piece and set-up sheets, monitoring production rates.
• Complete all applicable paperwork — scrap report, media usage sheet, media testing sheet, oil runs, etc.
• Performs machine change over.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
