Job summary

Donaldson Company in Frankfort, IN is seeking a Floating Ultra Web Operator on the second shift (2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., on-site) to assemble filtration media and support production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work with measurement tools, perform quality checks, follow set-up sheets, and maintain safety and documentation while contributing to Donaldson's tradition of engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of trade school or related work experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints or prints.
• Proficient with basic math and computer use.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and understand the operations and machines involved with the media process.
• Produce media within acceptable quality and quantity standards as stated in the prints and/or route sheets.
• Perform quality checks and tests as assigned.
• Follow first piece and set-up sheets, monitoring production rates.
• Complete all applicable paperwork - scrap report, media usage sheet, media testing sheet, oil runs, etc.
• Performs machine change over.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Comply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and procedures.
• Use all designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
