Job summary

PlainsCapital Bank is seeking a Floating Teller/Customer Service Representative to process transactions including checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and account maintenance. This full-time position covers downtown Fort Worth as well as Southlake and Denton branches.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, opening accounts, cross-selling bank products, and assisting with notary services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum one year of retail customer service or banking experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with a calculator.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Excellent PC skills, including Word/Excel and banking applications.
• Self-motivated with initiative, accountability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service, acknowledge customers promptly, and process transactions accurately.
• Handle a variety of transactions: cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and change orders.
• Answer routine inquiries about bank products and services in person, by phone or mail.
• Offer notary service.
• Perform branch opening/closing duties following security procedures.
• Balance cash drawer, receipts, ATM as needed, and assist in vault balancing.
