Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring a Floating Service Technician to troubleshoot HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing issues across a 692-unit community. You’ll maintain property standards and respond quickly to service tickets, delivering superior resident service.

Ideal candidates have HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred and at least one year of related experience, plus a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas per company standards and applicable laws.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service tickets and communicate updates to residents and staff.

As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:

• Be responsible fortrouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $21.00 – $22.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
• *Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What We’ll Expect From You

• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property
