Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair issues across HVAC, appliances, and building systems in a 415-unit community. You’ll maintain spaces, respond to tickets, and communicate updates to residents and staff, ensuring high service standards.

Qualified candidates have a valid driver’s license, live within 30 minutes of the property, and may have HVAC/EPA/CFC certs or related experience.

Qualifications

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas per company standards and applicable laws.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service tickets.
• Communicate clearly with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates.

As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:

• Be responsible fortrouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
• *Schedule subject to change based on business needs
