Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our 692-unit community in Maryland. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain apartments, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to resident requests to keep homes in excellent condition.

Qualifications

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain apartment units and common areas.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to residents and respond to maintenance requests.
• Collaborate with the property team to handle emergencies and on-call rotation.

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
