Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our New Albany, OH community. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive upkeep, and delivering excellent resident service to keep homes in top condition.

You'll handle HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks, with a focus on reliability and communication. The position runs Monday–Friday with on-call responsibilities and eligible benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Active driver’s license and a vehicle.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent education/experience mix.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.

Our apartment community is seeking a dedicated Service Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, takes initiative, and delivers outstanding customer service. As a Maintenance Technician At Morgan Properties, You Will

• Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
• *Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What We’ll Expect From You

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle
• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
