Job summary

Quality Correctional Care (QCC) seeks dedicated nursing professionals to provide medical and mental healthcare within NW Indiana correctional facilities. Floating to various sites, you will assess patients, administer medications, and respond to emergencies under medical supervision.

Requires Indiana LPN/RN licensure (Compact acceptable) and CPR certification. The role supports chronic care management, patient education, and coordination with providers.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana LPN or RN license or Compact licensure eligibility.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive healthcare to patients.
• Administer medications and manage chronic care needs.
• Respond to sick calls and coordinate with medical providers.
• Change dressings as required by medical provider.
• Perform 14-day physicals and emergency response as needed.
• Educate patients on health concerns and prevention.
