Job summary

Quality Correctional Care (QCC) is seeking a dedicated RN to support health services across Central Indiana correctional facilities. You will administer medications, perform intakes, respond to sick calls, and manage chronic care while educating patients and ensuring safety.

Must hold an active Indiana RN license (or compact) and CPR certification. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, with day or night shifts and travel between facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid RN Indiana or Compact licensure.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Push, pull, reach and bend frequently.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications.
• Perform medical intakes and assess fitness for incarceration.
• Respond to sick calls and follow up with the medical provider.
• Check and/or change medical dressings as required by the medical provider.
• Perform 14-day physicals.
• Manage chronic care and provide patient education.
• Respond to medical emergencies and perform life-saving measures as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacology and medication costs.
• Provide insight and direction to Medically Trained Personnel, as needed.
• Comply with all current and future laws and regulations.
