Job summary

RPh on the Go is seeking a Floating Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week full-time contract supporting multiple community pharmacy locations throughout eastern Iowa. This role requires a PharmD, active Pharmacist license, and a minimum of one year of retail pharmacy experience.

Candidates with an active Iowa Pharmacist license or a Temporary Iowa Pharmacist license are encouraged to apply. Temporary Iowa licensure is accepted while pursuing permanent licensure.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree and active pharmacist license.
• Minimum one year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Willingness to travel between multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescriptions while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Counsel patients on medications and provide clinical guidance.
• Respond professionally to patient questions and resolve medication-related concerns.
• Maintain inventory and controlled substance records.
• Resolve third-party insurance and billing issues.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support efficient daily operations and deliver exceptional patient care.
