Job summary

Quality Correctional Care (QCC) is hiring a registered nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care at Tippecanoe Community Corrections in Lafayette, Indiana. The role involves administering medications, performing intakes, and responding to medical needs in a secure environment.

The shift is 7AM–7PM for one shift per week with the possibility to pick up additional shifts. Valid RN licensure and CPR certification are required, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assess and deliver comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Administer medications and manage dressing changes.
• Perform 14-day physicals and monitor chronic conditions.
• Respond to sick calls and emergencies and coordinate with medical staff.
