Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-year, on-site role in elementary to high school settings. As a floating RBT, you’ll support students 1:1, primarily addressing Autism and emotional needs, with a steady 37.5-hour week throughout the 2026-2027 academic year, August through June.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required.
• Ability to provide own supervision as per guidelines.
• Experience supporting K-12 students with behavioral or emotional needs is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and eagerness to collaborate in dynamic school settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized behavioral support and interventions to assigned students
• Serve as a resource for students exhibiting challenging behaviors
• Work closely with educational teams, teachers, and support staff
• Accurately document progress and communicate updates as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies and ethical standards
