Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a motivated, compassionate Physical Therapist to join as a full-time floater covering Central Suffolk of Long Island. In this role, you will assess patients, design treatment plans, and deliver care across our clinics with a supportive team and modern facilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.
• Evaluates a patient's need for physical therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Floater role providing coverage across Central Suffolk of Long Island clinics.
• Assess patients' strengths/ weaknesses and design effective treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a well-trained support staff and utilize state-of-the-art spaces and equipment.
• Train right new graduates and foster professional development.
