Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Float Physical Therapist to evaluate, plan, and provide therapy for patients across multiple locations. The role supports the PT & Rehab team, covering patient-care during leaves and high census periods, and involves teaching opportunities with students.

Ideal candidates hold an Indiana PT license, a BS degree, and have 3+ years of experience, with a focus on safe patient handling and inter-disciplinary collaboration to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program is required.
• Must have a valid Indiana Physical Therapy license or temporary permit.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience strongly preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable in anatomy/physiology, evaluation and therapy techniques, and current materials and trends.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, peers, patients, families, physicians, and customers.
• Must be able to lift/transfer patients and treatment supplies without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, and provides therapy for appropriate patients in multiple locations.
• Participates in teaching opportunities or clinical education of students and interdisciplinary program planning.
• Ensures a safe environment for effective team functioning and positive patient outcomes.
