Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to provide patient-centered laboratory support across multiple Patient Service Center locations. The role includes venipuncture, specimen labeling, order verification, and handling for newborns to geriatric patients.

You will support PSC workflows, perform outpatient EKGs as needed, and ensure accurate documentation in the EHR. The position requires flexibility to work at any PSC location with short notice, contributes to safe

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor’s preferred.
• Phlebotomy program completion certificate or verified competency required.
• One year of phlebotomy experience preferred; strong customer service skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture, capillary, and heel sticks across all ages.
• Provide patient-centered registration and bedside support in PSC settings.
• Verify orders, label specimens, and ensure proper handling and transport.
• Assist with Epic registration workflows and related workflows as needed.
• Travel between PSC locations with short notice to cover staffing gaps.
