Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II - Float to support a healthcare facility in Boca Raton, FL. This local contract role runs 6 months+ with a 6am–4pm EST schedule, weekends included, on-site location.

The successful candidate will have a HS diploma and 3–5 years phlebotomy experience, perform blood draws, labeling and handling, centrifugation, and ensure accurate patient information and specimen integrity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge and decontaminate as required.
• Collect and store specimens following established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly and courteously.
• Match requisitions to tubes; label, centrifuge, split and freeze specimens as needed.
• Verify test requisitions against the script for 100% accuracy.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures.
