Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Float Pharmacist to support multiple sites in the Phoenix metro area. This per diem role handles prescription processing, patient education, and immunizations within the scope allowed by state boards.

Travel up to 50% and a Monday–Friday schedule are typical. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, advising customers, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in AZ or eligible to obtain
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
• Travel up to 50%
