Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelines* Follows all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of Pharmacy* Oversees the initial submission, resubmission and collection of all third party claims* Manages and balances the pharmacy inventory to provide for maximum turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs. Oversees the transmitting, processing and receiving of orders to and from the Kinney Warehouse and additional suppliers as needed* Oversees the checking of pharmacy inventory for outdates and processing of all returns* Ensures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelines* Ensures in-store pharmacy technology is being used to its fullest potential to allow for a maximum return on investment of the technology and life span* Ensure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees at all times* Ensure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention* Assist in the implementation of all corporate pharmacy marketing, advertising and promotional programs are fully executed and implemented* Oversees the maintenance of the pharmacy department to ensure a clean and professional environment* Maintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professions* Maintains an awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrates them into own practice* Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient information* Facilitates communication between professional staff and pharmacy personnel.* Assists in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelines* Assist in the training and development of all pharmacy department personnel, including use of the Kinney Pharmacy Clerk and Technician Training Program* Interface with various auditors and outside agencies, as needed* Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs* Perform other duties as assigned## Qualifications**Job Requirements:*** Posses and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy* Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift* Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test* Certified Immunizer**Education:*** Minimum: BS or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy
