Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Customer Service/Banking Associate to provide exceptional customer care for daily transactions and inquiries, while adhering to bank policies. The role includes referring customers to business partners for banking products and services and traveling to various Financial Centers within the market to support operations.

Ideal candidates will have strong cash handling experience, professional presentation, and the ability to engage customers with confidence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Extensive cash handling experience and ability to perform advanced math functions.
• Ability to present a professional image when interacting with the public.
• Ability to initiate dialogue confidently with the public.
• Able to read and write well for clear communication.
• Knowledge of retail policies and procedures typically gained with 2+ years CSR experience.
• Ability to use judgment, diplomacy and problem resolution skills.
• Team-oriented with flexibility in scheduling.
• SAFE Act registration at time of employment via NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer care for daily transactions and inquiries, following Fifth Third Bank policies.
• Refer customers to appropriate business partners for products and services.
• Travel to various Financial Centers within the market as required.
• Maintain confidential handling of customer information and adhere to Code of Conduct and Ethics.
• Perform daily office duties and work with the platform team to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist in balancing records and correcting outages with guidance as needed.
• Keep up-to-date on bank policies and center procedures.
