Washington Integrative Foot & Ankle in the Seattle metro area seeks a Patient Services Coordinator to handle high-volume calls, schedule appointments, and support practices. The role is primarily based in our Kirkland and Everett offices.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, healthcare terminology knowledge, and experience navigating patient records systems. Call center or scheduling experience is preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in fast paced scheduling or call center.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare position preferred - but willing to train the right individual!
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Communicates clearly on the phone and accurately documents and assigns messages.
• Confirms and updates contact information for all patients at every contact.
• Makes follow-up calls for any messages left.
• Documents appointment visit status, including rescheduled, cancelled, confirmed, left voice message, or any other status appropriately.
• Delivers all communications with excellent customer service.
• Be courteous and professional for all patient interactions.
• Routes calls to appropriate staff for swift resolution.

Washington Integrative Foot & Ankle is dedicated to helping people of all ages and lifestyles get back to enjoying the activities they love. We have 3 convenient locations across the Seattle metro area in Renton, Kirkland, and Everett.

Washington Integrative Foot & Ankle is looking for a Patient Services Coordinator to answer a high volume of calls, provide excellent customer service, and provide support to the practices. This role will be primarily based in our Kirkland and Everett offices.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Answers a high volume of calls and schedules appointments for all patients with a high degree of accuracy
• Communicates clearly on the phone and accurately documents and assigns messages
• Confirms and updates contact information for all patients at every contact
• Makes follow-up calls for any messages left
• Documents appointment visit status, including rescheduled, cancelled, confirmed, left voice message, or any other status appropriately
• Delivers all communications with excellent customer service
• Be courteous and professional for all patient interactions
• Routes calls to appropriate staff for swift resolution

Requirements

• Strong computer skills, including basic keyboarding skills
• Ability to navigate through patient records systems
• Ability to analyze situations, prioritize, develop solutions, and make recommendations
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service and communication skills over the telephone
• Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with patients
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of medical practice terminology
• Patient-focused with the ability to work independently
• Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to reliably commute to our Kirkland and Everett offices

Education and Experience

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
