Job summary

Community Health Northwest Florida seeks a Float Patient Services Advisor to provide front‑desk and patient registration support across CHNWF clinic locations. You will greet patients, check in, verify demographics, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate records in the electronic health record.

You must be willing to travel to any CHNWF clinic, with a flexible schedule including 10‑hour shifts, evenings, and weekends, plus a valid Florida driver's license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Medical billing experience or training.
• Experience with EHR and patient registration.
• Medical office and customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Complete patient check-in and registration.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and collect co-pays/payments as needed.
• Maintain accurate information in the electronic health record.
• Assist patients with forms, Sliding Fee Program information, transportation, and interpretation services when needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
• Communicate effectively with patients, clinical staff, and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
