Job summary

Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center (Nwoesc) Defiance County Schools in Archbold, Ohio seeks a Paraprofessional - Floating to support classrooms across the Defiance County service area. The role requires travel between sites and aligns with the service center mission and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Valid state department of education license/permit to serve as an educational paraprofessional.
• Educational aide permit required.
• Demonstrates reliability, flexibility and time management.
• Maintains records free of criminal violations as required for public school employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs non-teaching support services as part of the educational team.
• Prepares materials and equipment; maintains orderly program areas.
• Assists with daily living activities and instructional support.
• Supports inclusive education and classroom accommodations as directed by teachers.
• Maintains accurate records and data as directed.
