Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center’s Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. The role requires a degree in Occupational Therapy, an active OT license, and BLS certification, with 40 hours per week, M-F 8-5 and one weekend per month with comp days.

Qualifications

• OT degree required and active license in state(s) of employment
• Master of Occupational Therapy preferred or education commensurate with graduation date
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
• Maintains continuing education per state standards

Responsabilités

• Age-Appropriate patient care across lifespan
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care using evidence-based interventions
• Implement treatment interventions including education, exercise, mobility training, and ADL/IADL strategies
• Set functional goals and monitor progress with care team
• Educate patients and caregivers and support discharge planning
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and billing accurately and timely
• Maintain clean, safe treatment environment and ensure equipment functioning
• Participate in continuing education and quality-improvement initiatives
• Meet float program requirements across departments as needed
