Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist for inpatient rehabilitation in Winston-Salem. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to restore function and independence.

Active OT licensure in the state and BLS are required; Master’s degree preferred and continuing education is expected. The role is full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Master of Occupational Therapy preferred or educational requirements commensurate with graduation date.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Maintains continuing education in accordance with state standards.

Responsibilities

• Age-appropriate patient care across the lifespan per policies and standards.
• Evaluate and plan care; fabricate assistive devices and adaptive strategies as needed.
• Implement treatment including exercises, mobility, modalities, and home programs.
• Set functional goals and monitor outcomes with coordination across teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers; support discharge planning with instructions.
