Job summary

Quality Correctional Care (QCC) is seeking compassionate nurses to deliver comprehensive medical and mental health care across Indiana correctional facilities. You will administer medications, conduct intakes, respond to sick calls, manage chronic conditions, and educate patients to support rehabilitation and wellness.

Required: Indiana LPN or RN license, CPR certification, ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana or Compact LPN/RN licensure.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications
• Perform medical intakes and assess if patient is fit for incarceration
• Respond to sick call requests and follow up with medical provider
• Check and/or change medical dressings as required
• Performing 14-day physicals
• Managing chronic care
• Providing patient education on health concerns
• Responding to medical emergencies
