Job summary

Astrana Health Management in Boulder City, NV is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to support regional clinics. The role is full-time and on-site, helping providers with patient care, administrative tasks, and care coordination across locations.

The position requires completing an accredited Medical Assistant program, with preference for NCCT certification and Spanish bilingual capability. You will support patient flow, charting, and sterile technique while contributing to a patient-first

Qualifications

• Display knowledge of medical terminology.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Proficient in MS Office and patient management software.
• Previous phlebotomy or laboratory experience (preferred).
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Pass a minimum of one NCCT exam (preferred).
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a provider.
• Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records.
• Clinical duties may include preparing a treatment room for patient exams, recording patient medical history, and cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, and document all information in the patient's chart.
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and record vital statistics and test results.
• Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to prioritize workload while remaining flexible.
