Astrana Health Management is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant (Float) for our Las Vegas clinics. This full-time role supports providers and patients with administrative and clinical tasks and may float to multiple locations as directed.

The ideal candidate speaks Spanish, has medical terminology knowledge, and professional patient service skills. In-person, onsite work is required at our Las Vegas, NV site with potential for extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent customer service skills expected.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Proficient in MS Office and patient management software.
• Phlebotomy or lab experience is a plus.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• National cert exams are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians, nurses, and staff with administrative and clinical duties under a provider's direction.
• Schedule appointments and maintain medical records.
• Prepare treatment rooms, record medical history, and sterilize equipment.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs in the chart.
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and record data.
• Maintain patient files with accurate information.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Work extended hours if needed and perform other duties as assigned.
