The Westover Companies, a family‑owned property management group in Pennsylvania, seeks a Floating Maintenance Technician to support multiple properties by floating between locations as needed and handling routine maintenance, service requests, turnovers, and preventative tasks.

This role requires practical building trades skills, the ability to diagnose HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues, and the use of basic hand tools.

We are currently seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to help with our Pennsylvania property locations. This position will float between properties as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Exhibit strong commitment to the service needs of internal and external customers.
• Communicate and work well with leasing and maintenance staff members.
• Always represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, service requests, turnovers, and preventative maintenance to units and common areas, as well as any other duties assigned.
• Share on‑call responsibility.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Provide own basic hand tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Attend in‑house training as required.Maintain current preventative maintenance property logs.

Ideal Candidate

• Demonstrate appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools.
• Lift and move heavy items (e.g., water heaters, appliances, rock salt).
• Shovel and salt as required.
• Perform routine, preventative maintenance.
• Have knowledge and practice of a variety of building trade skills.
• Work on step/extension ladders and roofs while following safety protocols.
• Keep track of inventory and maintain a clean and stocked shop.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Identify safety and hazardous conditions and communicate any issues.
• Follow company operational and safety procedures.
• Ability to work an on‑call schedule as required.
• Have a positive, team‑oriented attitude and understand and follow Westover Companies core values.
• Have a reliable work ethic and dependable transportation; must maintain a valid driver’s license and working vehicle.
