Job summary

Sodus Central School District is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for routine student and staff care under the guidance of a Registered Professional Nurse. This role requires less than 20 hours per week with no benefits.

The candidate must be registered as an LPN in New York and provide copies of current licenses and certifications. This position will assist with various nursing tasks on a floating assignment basis.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered LPN by the State of New York.
• Copies of current LPN license, CPR/AED and First Aid certificates are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine care for students and staff under supervision.
• Assist with various LPN tasks as needed.

Job description

The work involves the routine care of students and staff in accordance with a defined plan under direct supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (School) or Nurse Teacher. Assignments concerning care are given specifically with limited leeway allowed for exercise of independent judgment.

This positionis part-time, with no benefits, and will be less than 20 hours per week. It will be considered a floating LPN assignment helping to cover as needed.
