Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Leasing Consultant to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals across multiple California communities. You will engage with prospective residents and current tenants to optimize occupancy and satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, sales experience, and familiarity with property-management systems. The role requires travel among listed California locations and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum of one year of previous sales experience is preferred.
• One year of previous residential leasing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
• Interact with prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy and retention.
• Generate and handle traffic, qualify prospects, prepare lease documents, and complete move-in paperwork.
• Inspect model apartments and coordinate move-in/out with maintenance.
• Maintain confidential resident files and weekly leasing reports.
• Follow up with prospective residents via phone, mail or email.
