Job summary

Trinity Property Consultants in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a full-time Leasing Specialist to manage day-to-day tasks across a portfolio of communities. You will show, lease and move-in prospects, update unit availability, process applications, and deliver outstanding customer service to residents, investors, and partners.

The role requires strong communication, sales ability, leadership, and knowledge of state fair housing law.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to fluently read and write English.
  • Experience with resident management software preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills for rent calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day tasks for an ever-changing portfolio of communities.
  • Provide superior customer service.
  • Assist in market surveys.
  • Show, lease and move-in prospective residents.
  • Update unit availability daily.
  • Process rental applications.
  • Process maintenance requests.
  • Receive collections per company standards.
  • Clerical and phone support.
  • Maintain resident files with complete documentation.
  • Manage move-in readiness and inspections.
  • Resolve resident complaints and escalate when needed.

Compensation: $18 to $20 hourly,depending on experience,plus lease commissions and lease renewal bonuses.

Schedule: This is a full‑time position, scheduled five days per week, with Sunday and one weekday off.

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Job Description
  • Handle all day to day tasks and responsibilities at an ever-changing portfolio of communities
  • Providing superior customer service
  • Assist in complete market surveys
  • Show, lease and move in prospective community members
  • Update unit availability daily
  • Process rental applications
  • Process maintenance request
  • Receive collections in accordance with Trinity’s standards
  • Clerical and phone support
  • Maintain all community members files, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all file documentation
  • Maintain a calendar of scheduled move-ins, ensuring all move-in appointments are completed, all apartments are inspected to ensure all apartments are move-in ready to the Trinity’s standards
  • Demonstrate ability to resolve resident complaints and direct pertinent issues and matters to Supervisor
  • Conduct community member’s move-out unit walks
  • Additional tasks or duties assigned by Supervisor
  • Provide in depth on the job training to existing associates and new hires
  • Handle all day to day business needs of the community you are stationed at
Special Requirements

Physical Demands:

  • The employee will be regularly required to sit; stand; walk; reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands; talk and hear. The employee may occasionally be required to climb. The employee will be required to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods of time. Must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends, as needed.

Attendance/Travel:

  • This position is a full time position and may require the availability to work some nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Regular attendance and active participation/planning at company functions and events.

Qualification

Computer Skills:

  • Intermediate computer and Internet knowledge
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Prefer knowledge of the following software programs: Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, Resident Check

Learning and Development:

  • Maintain a commitment to ongoing professional development and career growth through our Companies continuing education programs

Education:

  • High school education or equivalent is required
  • Ability to fluently read and write English, accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions and use all on-site resident management software functions

Professional Experience:

  • One year of experience in a service industry is preferred
