Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a grill cook to join our Minnesota team. Monday through Friday daytime hours, no nights or weekends. You will follow recipes, ensure high standards of food safety, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional guest service.

We provide uniforms, daily lunch, PPE, and ongoing training with opportunities for advancement in a culture of inclusion and belonging.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year previous experience in the food industry preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt and change in a fast paced environment.
• Do simple arithmetic.
• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Be able to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of guest service at all times.
• Execute recipes to the letter.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation expectations.
• Follows and completes production sheets.
• Operate a meat slicer and practice proper knife handling.
• Set up and tear down of workstation.
• Maintain polite and professional communication.
• Utilize FIFO and manage daily workload deadlines.
• Support leadership with other duties as requested.

• Ability to meet deadlines in completion of daily workload
• Set up and tear down of workstation

• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Properly operates a meat slicer and executes proper knife handling
• All other duties as requested by the leadership team
