Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a grill cook for a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights or weekends. You will prepare menu items, follow recipes, and maintain food safety while delivering quality guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in the food industry, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods. Taher supports training and development and offers uniforms and PPE.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in food industry preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest quality guest service at all times.
• Execute recipes to the letter and maintain consistency.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation expectations.
• Follow production sheets and meet daily deadlines.
• Set up and tear down workstation; maintain cleanliness.
• Communicate politely and professionally with team and guests.
• Operate meat slicer and handle knives properly.

We are adding a grill cook to our team! Monday through Friday daytime hours, no nights or weekends!

Essential Functions:

• Provide the highest quality of guest service at all times
• Execute recipes to the letter
• Follow all food safety and sanitation expectations
• Follows and completes production sheets
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to meet deadlines in completion of daily workload
• Set up and tear down of workstation
• Polite and professional communication style
• Understands and utilizes FIFO
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Properly operates a meat slicer and executes proper knife handling
• All other duties as requested by the leadership team
