Job summary

Taher, Inc. is looking for a grill cook/cashier to join our team in Merced, CA. Shift runs Monday through Thursday, 10am–6:30pm, with emphasis on cooking quality and guest service.

Ideal candidates have cooking experience, strong reliability, and money handling skills. Join a team focused on safe practices, proper sanitation, and timely service.

Job description

We are adding a grill cook/cashier to our team! Monday through Thursday. 10am-6:30pm.

Essential Functions:

• * MUST HAVE COOKING EXPERIENCE.
• * DEPENDABLE & PUNCTUAL is a MUST!
• * Be self-motivated. Does not need to be micro-managed.
• * Team Player
• * Follows all cleanliness, organization, sanitation and food safety.
• * Must be able to follow directions and recipes.
• * Provide the highest quality of guest service at all times
• * Must have cashier and money handling experience

• * Execute recipes to the letter
• * Follows and completes production sheets
• * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• * Ability to meet deadlines in completion of daily workload
• * Set up and tear down of workstation
• * Polite and professional communication style
• * Understands and utilizes FIFO
• * Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
• * Properly operates a meat slicer and executes proper knife handling
• * All other duties as requested by the leadership team

• * Minimum of 1 year previous experience in the food industry preferred
• * Strong customer service skills
