Job summary

ABC Academy in Milton, Vermont is seeking a flexible Floating Educator to support classrooms and teaching teams across the program. You will move between age groups to provide break coverage and assist wherever needed.

The role suits someone who thrives in a collaborative setting, adapts quickly to infants through school-age children, and helps keep classrooms safe, engaging, and connected throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Have any ONE of the following certifications: Career Ladder Certificate Level 1 or 2, CDA and 12 months of experience, State Board of Education-approved Human Services Certificate with 12 months of experience, or Fundamentals completion.

Responsibilities

• Move between classrooms to provide break coverage and support
• Support Lead and Assistant Educators with daily classroom tasks
• Build warm relationships with children across ages and help with routines
• Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, and transitions as appropriate
• Participate in indoor and outdoor learning activities across classrooms
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture
