The role requires experience in high-volume cooking, strong food-safety knowledge, and the ability to follow recipes while adapting for large batches. Flexible evenings and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in high-volume or institutional cooking.
• Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow recipes while adapting for large-batch production.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and event days.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Culinary education preferred.
• Intermediate knife skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook daily staff meals for employees across departments.
• Plan balanced menus that accommodate dietary needs and cultural preferences.
• Execute bulk food production efficiently for large employee counts.
• Ensure meals are ready and served on schedule for shifts and breaks.
• Maintain proper food temperatures, storage, labeling, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the Catering Chef.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products.
• Maintain a clean, organized staff kitchen and serving area.
• Support premium catering production and service as directed by the Catering Chef.
