Job summary

American Property Management is seeking a Floating Community Consultant to tour Terravista, Briarstone, Bellamonte, and Meadows Apartments in Tacoma, WA. This on-site role works with residents and prospective tenants, handling leasing activities, and maintaining market knowledge to support the team.

Requirements include 2+ years in customer service and 1+ year in multifamily housing, with English fluency and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service is required.
• 1+ year in multifamily housing within last 10 years preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws, Landlord/Tenant Laws and ADA laws preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
• Fluent in English with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Tour units with prospective tenants and highlight selling points.
• Handle customer and tenant relations and ensure issues are addressed promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of the current area market.
• Prepare and maintain reports for managers.
• Host community events and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Assist residents from start to finish of the rental process.
