Job summary

Peachtree Orthopedics is seeking a Clinical Assistant Float to support patient exams and clinic operations. The role travels between Peachtree Orthopedics locations, assisting clinicians, preparing exam rooms, recording vital signs, and documenting in the EMR (Athena) to ensure smooth patient flow.

The position requires the ability to follow physician orders, assist with imaging and lab requests, and coordinate appointments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related clinical experience and/or training preferred.
• Credentialed/licensed in one of the following (or equivalent): LPN, CMA/RMA, ROT/OTC, ATC, or CNA.
• Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and EMR skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel between Peachtree Orthopedics locations and provide clinical support where needed.
• Escort patients to exam areas and prepare patients and rooms for examination.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and document in the EMR (Athena).
• Support physician orders, lab requests, imaging orders, and follow-up needs with patients.
• Coordinate work-in appointments and communicate schedule changes and cancellations.
